The Selfie: Me, Myself and I

Explore identity through the self-portrait photographic genre. Recreate homage to your favourite image by posing for a self-directed portrait. Learn about the history of the self-portrait and practice hands-on digital photography studio skills.
Run by Fotonow, this one day new photography workshop for 13 17 year olds looks at the history of the selfie and its recent popularity. You will be able to take part in your very own self-directed photography shoot, copying one of the greats. Afterwards you will be able to download and select your favourite images
here will be a dedicated half an hour lunch break, please bring along a packed lunch or money to purchase lunch from our in-house café bar.
Fotonow CIC is a Plymouth based social enterprise exploring visual culture as a means to stimulate social change.
