This modern Mark Twain-esque adventure sees Zak, a young man with Down’s Syndrome, run away from a care home with his dream of becoming a professional wrestler.
In his quest to locate the professional wrestling school of his idol, Salt Water Redneck Zak is thrown together with Tyler, a small time outlaw on the run, who becomes Zaks unlikely coach and ally.
From the makers of Little Miss Sunshine this feel-good film puts the hopes of a person with learning disabilities front and centre of the story. Its a tale of friendship and independence, appealing to fans of wrestling, good storytelling, and adventure.
We have relaxed screenings of this film on Fri 8 Nov and Wed 13 Nov. Find out more here >>
