A Sardinian fisherman has promised the moon to the woman he loves. And Sardinian men always keep their promises.
When the Italian Intelligence Agency obtains information that an unidentified man living in Sardinia is the real owner of the moon it is almost too hard to believe.
The news is instantly relayed to all intelligence agencies in the world, which leads to each government claiming that they have the rights to the moon.
In an attempt to get to the bottom of this strange claim a Sardinia-born secret agent is dispatched into the island. However, he must first be reminded what it is to be a Sardinian.
Taking festivals by storm this charming film is a must see.
