Having recently lost his closest friend to the jaws of a strange sea predator, oceanic adventurer-cum-filmmaker Steve Zissou sets out to find and kill the beast he’s dubbed the ‘jaguar shark’. Along the way, though, he has to deal with a prim Brit journalist, a man claiming to be his son, and impending financial ruin.

Loaded with retro styling and exotic storytelling this is Anderson at his visual best.
