An ageing artist, Chela, finds her life change completely after her partner of 30 years, Chiquita, is sent to prison for fraud. Faced with financial hardship they must sell their family heirlooms piece by piece. Pushed to reckon with the outside world without the gregarious Chiquita by her side Chela uses the old automobile given to her by her father to provides a taxi service for a group elderly, wealthy ladies which exposes a new sense of freedom and possibility.
