New works by four artists that explore, in a variety of ways, themes of contact and surface in relation to the body and sensing.

Working across a range of practice and media, each utilises a sense of layering in their work; whether through the physicality of material, action, or process, or through ideas of representation, communication and scale.

This layering is echoed in a set of prints that were developed during a recent residency period with Double Elephant Print Workshop. Part of their Redefining Print project, this aimed to bring contemporary sculptural, digital, video and performance based practice together with the processes, facilities and expertise of the print workshop and offered the four artists the opportunity to explore these processes in relation to their own practices. Redefining Print culminates with a symposium on 19 November.
