The walk will be up to 1.5 kilometres (including returning to The Phoenix) mostly on pavements and with some road crossing.
Event is free to attend. Total capacity – 15
Online booking available for 10.
Walk-up available on the day for 5.
Emma Welton is a musician and sound artist. Her Exeter Sound Walks began as a project for Exeter Family Orchestra during lockdown, and have since grown their own legs which take her to all sorts of places and sounds. She loves to listen with other people, and has run many Sound Walks, together in different habitats. One participant said:
‘It really was a special and inspiring experience. I feel my ears and my mind have been opened to new possibilities, and I am now practising listening in different ways in my daily life.’
