Based on a real friendship, SOS BRN is a story that tries to answer one not-so-simple question: How are you supposed to deal with an earthshaking tragedy? This story is about Brian; a young, stubborn shut-in and, in his case, step one is obviously to drink heavily and then hope that step two somehow reveals itself. Navigating the tempest of grief, anger and guilt that comes with a loss, SOS BRN follows Brian’s escapades into one tumultuous night as he searches for some kind of an answer, waiting hopelessly for the miracle that could fix everything. Plagued by worried flat mates, wise strangers, and a rather vulgar hallucination, could tonight be the night when Brian realises that life and death aren’t what he thinks they are?
After its successful run last year, the show is now making a stop in Exeter before heading off to be performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August!
Content warning – vulgar language, alcohol/drug abuse and references to suicide.
