Social [practice]: #3 Feast

Join Mandy Barber from Incredible Vegetables for an amazing harvest feast and discuss plant conservation, growing and eating.

Local food producer and cook Mandy Barber will be making a harvest meal to mark the forthcoming autumnal equinox (23 Sept). Mandy will be cooking-up and sharing different heritage and unusual perennial vegetables she grows on Dartmoor.

Mandy will share info about Incredible Vegetables, her micro business, experimental growing project and plant research space. She will also talk about the processes of saving, growing and eating the partly forgotten plant varieties, which she grows such as perennial broccoli, skirret, walking onions and more.

NB If you made a vessel to eat from in the previous session bring it along to use.

Mandy gives lectures about growing perennial vegetables and supports an organic, permaculture and no-dig approach to growing

Venue: The Workshop, Exeter Phoenix
