HALF DAY WORKSHOP

Come along and explore different ways of making sound effects and music, make some up-cycled instruments and work together to create a live score to a short silent film.

The course will look at different ways to make noises and sound effects using items you can find around the house and up-cycled instruments that are easy to create. Using the different sounds the group will look at how best to pair the sounds with a silent film, creating a live score and live soundtracks.

TUTOR: ROBYN LAWRENCE

Robyn is a creative producer living in Exeter with a keen interest in up-cycling and looking at creative ways to bring together different art-forms. Whilst primarily working in events and digital programming Robyn has assisted with Exeter Phoenix’s regular youth arts group.
