Combining Slide Guitar, beats, bass and vocal harmonies, Sam Green and his band are a traditional trio with a modern twist. Their sound has been dubbed ‘Future Blues’ and evokes the Mississippi Delta through a modern cinematic lens.Since the beginning of his career in 2009, Sam’s initial vision of a modern-day roots artist, with a DIY approach to touring and releasing music has wandered far and wide. It has hitch hiked, driven through the night, worn out countless pairs of shoes, broken down, but never faltered.The many seasons of his musical journey have seen him as a wide-eyed young troubadour sofa surfing in London from gig to gig, the leader of a raucous party band in Bristol whose festival appearances are legendary, and a reclusive songwriter searching for solace on the North Devon coast. Each has been well documented through six independently released Eps and one solo album.
