Rebel Zine is an imprint, sharing and showcasing the voices and perspectives of the people of Exeter; collated and printed as single-sheet zines with soya ink on post-consumer waste paper.

Working in collaboration with Inky Fingers Workshop, Art Work Exeter teamed up with 4 community groups in 2022, 4 lead artists and 4 Shadow artists to create 4 Zines to go into our growing Zine Library!

Designed in collaboration, printed on the Inky Fingers RISOgraph printer, assembled as a team, shared with pride.

This exhibition is to celebrate the creative process of Rebel Zine, exhibit the zines themselves and bring together the wonderful groups we have been working with.

CoLab – Get Lost (Rebel Zine 007) with lead artist and printmaker George Barron, alongside shadow artist Robin Doyle.

Headway – Headway’s Rebel Zine (Rebel Zine 008) with lead artist & illustrator Naomi Batts and shadow artist Kenson Low.

Freefall & Freefall+ (Pelican Project) – Plastzine (Rebel Zine 009) with lead artists Scotty Gillespie & shadow artist Penn Balint.

Krafty Kafe – Krafty Kafe Zine (Rebel Zine 010) with lead artist Molly Saunders and shadow artist Robyn Lawrence.
