SOLD OUT – Botanical Prints using simple photographic processes

3 stand alone workshops that will give you a great introduction to early photographic processes photograms and cyanotypes enabling you to capture different and intriguing plant forms to create unique prints of botanical specimens.

Create a stunning cushion cover using photosensitive emulsion to produce light sensitive fabric on which we can print using a selection of botanical specimens.

All materials are provided including a 50cm x 50cm white cotton cushion cover but you may want to bring along your own plant material to print.

COURSE TUTOR: NICKY THOMPSON

Nicky Thompson is a photographer who uses both traditional and experimental photographic techniques to document the natural environment and the communities around her home on Dartmoor. After lecturing in photography at Exeter School of Art for many years Nicky is now pursuing her own creative practice full time and has set up her own studio.
