Pixel Art: Bring Characters To Life

Imagine and create your own colourful pixel art characters, then using simple animation techniques bring your creations to life, make them walk, run, jump and dance to set them on there own little adventure!
This new one day workshop will provide opportunity to try out both hand-drawn and digital animation, using squared paper to design and colour your character and then animating them on the computer. Suitable for 8-13 year olds, this workshop is both creative and skill based, the best way to keeping young minds occupied.
The workshop runs from 10am 4pm, there will be a dedicated half an hour lunch break, please bring along a packed lunch. Parents welcome to stay to help younger children and join in the fun.
Graham has had over 16 years experience working in the 2D childrens television animation industry and has worked on a number of shows made by Honeycomb Animation and King Rollo Films including Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids, Binka, Poppy Cat, Funky Valley and Funky Town. Both Funky shows where animated in a digital cut-out style.
