QLab for Sound Design

An introduction on how to use and programme QLab, the leading software for sound design in live performance, led by local sound designer Nick Laws. By the end of the workshop, participants will feel comfortable programming a basic sound design.

About Nick Laws:
Nick is a Video and Sound Designer, as well as Editor and Animator, who has designed a variety of theatrical productions, and has worked extensively in production sound for theatre and live events. Nick recently worked as the Production Sound Engineer for Bath Theatre Royal’s production of ‘A View From The Bridge’, sound designed by Gregory Clarke.
