Dear Molly Hatchet Bookers,

We are so sorry to disappoint you but due to illness in the band, Molly Hatchet is unable to play this evening. Tickets are valid for a new date in the New Year and we will contact you as soon as this date has been confirmed.

Tonight, the show goes on with the two fantastic support bands Adam Sweet Band and Sons of Liberty, we very much hope that you are happy to join us. This is a free event for ticket holders, regardless of whether you want to hold on to your Molly Hatchet tickets for the new date. We will of course issue refunds if that is your preference.

If you are NOT a ticket holder, tickets can be purchased for £10 in advance or on the door to enjoy the two fantastic support bands.

We are very sorry for the short notice and again for the disappointment.

An American Independence Day Weekend Special,  featuring true Southern Rock Legends,  Molly Hatchet.

Direct from  the Southern State of Florida,  a huge coup for the venue in booking one of the legendary names of  Southern Blues/Rock. Together with stablemates Lynyrd Skynyrd , The Allman Brothers Band and Atlanta Rhythm Section,  they blazed their way into rock history, putting “Southern Rock” firmly on the map.

Formed in  Jacksonville, Florida in the early 70’s , Molly Hatchet released 6 albums on the Epic label including their multi-platinum selling self titled album, and chart topping ” Flrtin’ with Disaster ” and “Beating the Odds”, winning huge acclaim from Southern and hard rock fans worldwide.

Always known as a hard living, hard drinking outfit, several original members have sadly  departed along the way, however still led by award winning guitarist Bobby Ingram and keyboard wizard,  John Galvin, both being members since the 80’s alongside longterm stalwarts, Tim Lindsey (Bass), Shawn Beamer (Drums) and Jimmy Elkins (Lead vocals).

Always known as one of the “must see” live acts, they have toured with some of the greatest names in rock including The Stones, AC/DC, Aerosmith,  Def Leppard,  Judas Prjest, Rush, Santana,  Thin Lizzy and the Who.

After 40 plus years, Molly Hatchet is still Workin’ Hard, Playin’ Tough, Livin’ Fast and Flirtin’ with Disaster!
