Matrescence is the name given to the seismic psychological, physiological and social changes that occur in a person during pregnancy, birth and early motherhood.

Join Lizzy Humber for a morning edition of Matrescence Festival, with Journalist and Author Lucy Jones, (Matrescence: On the Metamorphosis of Pregnancy, Childbirth and Motherhood), Times Bestselling Author Hollie McNish (‘Lobster’, ‘Slug’, ‘Nobody Told Me’) and poet Amy Williams whose writing explores motherhood with honesty, warmth and wit.

Together with the audience we will hold space to explore matrescence, with creativity and kindness.

There will also be coffee and cake for the grown ups (sorry no hash browns and beans at this brunch edition!). Please bring a keep cup.
