February ARTIST: Imperfect Cinema
A series of artists talks presented in partnership with Exeter School of Art. This season features guest artists Anita Reynolds, Imperfect Cinema and Harriet Bowman.
The Imperfect Cinema project is a DIY micro-cinema that makes films and facilitates collaborative projects, asking questions about surrounding histories, cinematic memories and ecologies of the moving image. It is an ongoing social and contemporary interrogation and re-employment (and re-imagining) of filmmaking as a social-participatory-community practice.
