We are delighted to announce that Kaleidoscopic Minds: Festival of Neurodiversity is returning for 2026. An event designed by, and for, neurodivergent people and their families.

Join us for a day of creative activities, talks, and workshops on Sunday 27 September 2026.

This will be a day to celebrate the neurodivergent community, to inspire creativity, and to explore new connections, as well as discover support tools and regulation strategies.

Between 11am – 4pm we’ll be offering a diverse programme of activities for all ages, as well as talks from local neurodivergent experts, conversational crafts, and sensory areas for regulation. We will also have representatives from local neurodivergent charities and ND friendly organisations on site providing information on their services.

Then join us from 5pm for Neurodivergent Voices open mic in the café bar, followed by  A Small Enclosed Room with Alfie Murphy’ (14+) from Access All Areas Productions at 7pm in the auditorium (please book a separate ticket for this).

Conversational Crafts | 11am – 4pm | Cafe Bar

Join Sarah from Infinite Ability for a relaxed, welcoming craft space where creativity and conversation come together. There will be a variety of simple craft activities suitable for all ages and abilities. You’re welcome to join in, chat if you’d like to, or simply enjoy the creative process in a calm and accepting environment.

Helping your ND Child with School Distress and Burnout | 12pm-1pm | Studio 74

Dr Naomi Fisher is a clinical psychologist who specialises in autism, trauma and alternatives to school. Naomi will be giving a talk on how to support your neurodivergent child with school distress and burn out.

Poco Unplugged | 3pm-4pm | Workshop

Paul from POCO DROM will be performing a relaxed acoustic interpretation of their glitter-punk world packed, created with a gentler atmosphere in mind. Expect catchy songs, funny stories, positive vibes and a celebration of the weird, wonderful things that make us all unique. A cosy musical gathering where every family is welcome and every inner animal can run a little bit free.

PDA Devon: The Power of Peer Support | 11am-11.45am | Studio 74

Join Stacie, Helen, and Lindsay from PDA Devon as they share their personal journeys of raising neurodivergent children and the transformative impact of peer support.
