Joy Orbison’s brand of garage-house has been celebrated for finding a sound that marries elements of house, two-step, jungle, techno and dubstep. Alongside the release of the gargantuan Hyph Mngo (released on Hot Flush in late 2009) and material on his own imprint, Hinge Finger, notorious mixes for Radio 1 and Ministry have only served to cement Joy Orbison’s renown.
