In this workshop you will be learning techniques for wrapping crystals with wire to use as necklace pendants. All materials are included in the cost of the workshop and you will be able to take away your own unique necklace to wear or give as a gift.

Course Tutor: LILA ALVARADO

Lila Alvarado a jewellery designer/maker who works with wire, crystals and semiprecious stones, she has been making and teaching handicrafts from the age of 15.

Lila is from Nicaragua and worked for the Nica Hope Project for 13 years as part of a successful Artisanal and Handicraft Development project started in 2008. She worked with children, teenagers, single mothers and adults from at risk communities teaching them jewellery making and other crafts, enabling them to generate income from their handicrafts.
