    TWO DAY WORKSHOP

    This two-day course is designed to teach you the basics of shooting and editing video for your business. On day one you’ll learn basic camera skills, explore the options you have for equipment and get hands-on practical experience with filming. Day two will give you an introduction to editing Adobe Premiere Pro, and teach you some of the key technical skills and creative techniques to make professional and engaging content.

    Areas covered will include:

    • Equipment
    • Simple lighting
    • Basic camera skills
    • Shot composition and framing
    • Capturing audio
    • Filming interviews and B-Roll
    • Introduction to editing in Adobe Premiere Pro

    Whether you are working on promotional videos for your small business, creating online content, or simply want to learn some new skills this course will give you the confidence to go out and start filming.

    TUTOR

    Luke Hagan is a filmmaker and editor and the Digital Programme Coordinator at Exeter Phoenix.

    Since starting out as a freelance filmmaker and editor in 2009 Luke has worked on projects for some of the biggest national and international brands, as well as short films, music videos, feature films and a popular YouTube series.  His work as a filmmaker has shown at festivals across the world, and has even won awards including several at Exeter Phoenix’s  very own Two Short Nights Film Festival.
