The British cult filmmaker makes a welcome return with an eerie story of a global virus and the dark side of mother nature.

As the world searches for a cure to a disastrous virus, a scientist and park scout venture deep in the forest for a routine equipment run. Through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the heart of darkness, the forest coming to life around them.

Written in the early weeks of lockdown and shot to a very tight schedule In The Earth reminds us that Wheatley still has the power to thrill and fright in a way that is as unique and unexpected as the director himself.
