We are sorry to announce that due to illness, Idles’ Joe Talbot will no longer be DJing at this event. The band showcase featuring Tourists, Sweet Teef, Spitting Blood and Not So Righteous will still be going ahead as a FREE event in our auditorium between 7.30pm – 11pm.

We are working on finding an additional event for Joe to host a DJ set later in the year. If you have purchased tickets for this event, you should have received an email from our box office team.

After last year’s incredible event, Joe Talbot (frontman of the Mercury prize nominated IDLES) returns to Exeter Phoenix with a 90 minute DJ set alongside four of the best new Devon bands.

Spitting Blood are a group of hardcore punk-rockers from Exeter who will be bringing honest, to the point tunes, with charm to boot. Sweet Teef are another Exeter born band known for their chaotic and filthy grunge punk.

Fancy something a little mellower? Torquay-based Tourists combine elements of shoegaze and synth music to create a unique take on dream-pop. Rounding out the quartet of Devon bands are Not So Righteous, another Exeter born group known for their upbeat and energetic pop-punk riffs.

This evening promises to be another fantastic night that is not to be missed!
