Hand stitch your own recycled paper notebook in this 2 hour workshop

Our fab host Pat Mumby will guide you through the steps to create a lovely, unique accordion booklet, approximately 6″ x 4″ (152 mm x 102 mm). These are beautiful, tactile items, and can be used in various ways such as to display small photos, as a sketch book or journal, or even just as a decoration. Or a great gift for someone!

The booklet is constructed from a single sheet of card, or a series of joined sheets and folded into a zig-zag pattern, with sewn in pages, hard front and back cover and completed with a ribbon tie. There will be a selection of decorative paper and different card for you to choose from.

This workshop is a great introduction for those new to bookmaking.

All materials are provided.

Minimum age 14.

Workshops take place at Maker Mart independent gift and craft shop, located on Gandy Street.

Advance booking only.

Workshops require a minimum of two bookings to run. In the event that a workshop is cancelled you will be notified, and offered a refund.
