Billy’s father gives him a small pet called a Mogwai, but it comes with a set of rules: 

1. Don’t get him wet
2. Never feed him after midnight
3. No bright light

Billy breaks the first rule and his pet multiplies by the dozen. When the offspring break the second rule, they turn from cute creatures to wicked scale-covered trolls. The only way to stop them: rule three. It’s a frantic (and funny) battle to make it to daylight in this nostalgic festive film.
