A lazy young Brooklyn film school graduate shoots a documentary to help win back her ex in this feature debut from director Dolly Wells.

Recently graduated Lilian relocated to New York, shortly after graduating and moves in with her boyfriend. Fed up with her sense of entitlement and lack of drive he quickly breaks up with her.

Suddenly without a roof over her head Lillian is placed in the care of a family friend Julia, a reclusive author who expects cooking and cleaning in exchange for a room. In an attempt to impress her cynical ex, Lillian aims to make an unauthorised documentary on Julia and slowly the pair begin to support each other.

A warm-hearted study of two very different woman, Good Posture is a celebration of sisterhood, and a remarkable first film from Wells, who is already drawing comparisons to Greta Gerwig and Lena Durnham.
