Gary Colcloughs small-scale landscape drawings are integrated into wooden frameworks that transform them from flat images into sculpture. His work considers the constructed nature of the landscape and engages with the histories of its representation. Often staging inversed and doubled views, his meticulously constructed work alludes simultaneously to modernist architectural design and to Victorian viewing apparatus.
