Good Time Not A Long Time is the debut solo album from Bristol based MC, Gardna. This album is the culmination of years of dedicated service to the UKs reggae and dub scenes, that have seen Gardna establish himself as one of the countrys leading MCs and hosts.
Good Time Not A Long Time is a fine insight into how Gardna has reached those heights, drawing on influences from multiple genres to create an exceptionally strong and effective fusion of dub, reggae, hip hop, grime and beyond.
As you would expect from an artist of Gardnas calibre, the album is peppered with contributions from a number of notable names, both on the production side and the vocals. The former is mainly handled by the ever reliable Brad Baloo, who is perhaps best known as part of production and DJ duo, The Nextmen as well as credits from regular creative partner Kreed, plus Mungos Hifi, Gold Dubs, Coki and Bukka.
The guest players feature an equally strong team of vocalists with Hollie Cook, Eva Lazarus, Omar, Fox, Charli Brix, Dread MC, Rider Shafique and Taiwan MC all bringing their inimitable flavours to the mix. The combination of all these artists, underpinned by Gardnas own talent and vision, result in an album which bridges the gaps between the different areas of music thereby creating an audible utopia which will be sure to lure in diehard fans of each genre, while also enticing new listeners into Gardnas world.
To coincide with the albums release, there will also be a tour to celebrate the occasion. Gardna will be visiting a number of spots across the UK including Exeter, Bristol, London, Newcastle and Glasgow, as well as some dates in Australia & New Zealand and Europe later in the year. Gardna has a reputation for putting on electrifying live performances allowing the audience to experience the album in its rawest form.
