About the choirs

Soul of the City Gospel Choir are Exeter’s premier funky-heartful choir family. Created to celebrate uplifting music, the choir perform sizzling high-energy sets which are thoroughly joy infused. Singing Gospel, Motown, Soul, Funk and Pop, the choir are on a mission to inspire audiences in the Southwest and beyond with their unique brand of musical juiciness.

The Exeter & Torquay Musical Theatre Choirs were created to bring a touch of the West End to the South West! Within their first 12 months they supported Gareth Malone on his UK & West End tour ‘Sing-a-long-a-Gareth’, and have raised money for The Trussell Trust, Let’s Talk About Loss and the National Autistic Society. With a focus on vocal technique, community, opportunity and fun, they love to bring musical theatre songs to life. Led by vocal coach and professional singer Kelly Young, all with a love of Musical Theatre are welcomed!
