The first ever European Fingerstyle Collective Guitar Festival is being held in Exeter at Exeter Phoenix between 9th – 11th September.

Presented by US Candy Rat Records, FretMonkey and local promotors DMP & Circadian Music Group this is a great opportunity to see some of Europe’s very best fingerstyle acoustic guitarists over a weekend with concerts, masterclasses, competitions, open mic and much more.

If you go to any festival this year, then make it this three-day event here in Exeter where you’ll be amazed at the talented acoustic guitarists performing.

Friday and Saturday there will be a lunchtime concert (two guitarists) and an evening concert with three guitarists plus a lunchtime concert on Sunday. In-between concerts guitarists will give masterclasses (all included with your ticket at no extra cost) and there’s a competition to perform too (visit www.fingerstylefestival.com). There’s tons of ‘give-aways’ from main event sponsors (e.g. Elixir Strings), a chance to win a high quality brand acoustic guitar and even an open mic stage for any festival attendees who fancy showing off their skills.
