For Bloom 2022 one of Magic Carpet’s artists, Jess, will be providing a felt-making workshop to make flowers which can be used for decorations, badges, or just as a keep-sake. Wet felting is a calming, restful activity and we look forward to sharing it with you!

About Magic Carpet

Since 1981 Magic Carpet has worked in Exeter and surrounding towns offering a range of creative arts activities to those people who don’t usually access the arts because of difficulties with health, disability, or their social circumstances. 

Magic Carpet recognises that life can be a challenge and that creativity can help people be connected and to feel better. We specialise in running meaningful creative activities for communities in Exeter and East Devon. We believe in making creativity accessible to all and to promote the arts as a fantastic vehicle to develop skills, meet people and build self-confidence.  We make art, act, sing and most of all talk, socialise and make friends. 

Magic Carpet has been based at the Phoenix for several years, with both our office and several of our regular groups meeting in the building weekly.
