Join us for an engaging session designed for all ages and skill levels. You will explore innovative mark-making techniques using a diverse range of materials to unlock your creative potential. Whether you’re coming solo or bringing a friend or relative, this workshop offers a relaxed environment to experiment, discover new approaches, and express yourself through art. No prior experience necessary all materials provided, you will be using chalks and charcoal in this session so do bear that in mind and wear suitable clothing.

Course Tutor: Sarah John

Sarah is a practising ceramics and fine artist and is a regular tutor at Exeter Phoenix. Observation of human and natural form (in both 2D and 3D media) has remained central to her interests. Sarah focuses on learning ‘ways to see’, that are key for expressing the world of form around us, and on sharing skills and techniques in an informal atmosphere, which bring out the best creative ideas.
