The Exeter Cinema Heritage Project will be showing its series of short documentary films which record the memories of cinema going in the city. Created from interviews with some of the city’s residents, this collection of films looks at how cinema going has changed over the years, and tells people’s memories of everything from Saturday Morning Picture Clubs to the Closing of the ABC.
The 11 short films will play on a loop from 2pm. Booking in advance isn’t required and attendees are welcome to come along at any point during the screening.
The Exeter Cinema Heritage Project is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and made possible by National Lottery Players.
