Iconic in every sense, The Goonies defined a generation and helped us believe in our sense of adventure (and the motivational energy of Cyndi Lauper). Directed by the late Richard Donner (Superman, Scrooged) and with a score written by Joseph Williams (Lead singer of Toto and son of John Williams) this film was destined to succeed.
When a group of kids discover an authentic pirate treasure map hidden in their attic they head off on their bikes to claim the loot. But when they cross paths with the wanted Fratelli family and pirate legend, One-Eyed Willy’s boobytraps their mission becomes a fight for survival and one that will bring The Goonies even closer together.
Screened at Big Screen in the Park in 2013 The Goonies encouraged a new generation of Chunk fans and delighted audience who remembered it first time around. Who can forget the 300 wide audience heckle of “Hey You Guys”?!
Join us at 5PM for a family friendly edition.

Everyone is welcome, come as group or by yourself, as soon as you come to a Dolly’s Film Club event you are in our club!
