Djembe Drumming with DRLC
Let go of your worries and stresses and join us for a free djembe drumming workshop.
When Djembe drumming you have to focus your energy on keeping the beat, and the drumming itself promotes circulation and the flow of oxygen to help reduce stress and anxiety, build stamina and relieve tension.
This session is being provided by Devon Recovery Learning Community who will be taking over the Auditorium at Exeter Phoenix from 10am-4pm on Sunday 8th May. This is Session 3 of the day. As well as this workshop, they are offering badge-making and a resource library which can be accessed throughout the day. And keep your eyes peeled for Patrick the Shetland Pony – DRLC’s mascot who is due to make an appearance in the auditorium during the day!
