DJ Yoda returns to Exeter Phoenix following his sold-out appearance with his ’50 years Of Hip Hop Show’ in December 2024 DJ YODA is back with a brand new audio-visual show – ’80s Mixtape Live! Celebrating the decade of decadence, Yoda’s new show takes you on a journey through the 80s, from the biggest dancefloor fillers, through film, TV and back again. As with his ’50 years of Hip Hop’ show, DJ YODA will be mixing the visuals, as well as the tunes. YODA debuted the show at London’s iconic Royal Festival Hall to a sold out venue.

DJ Yoda is a world-class turntablist, producer, and pioneer of audio-visual mixing. True to his Star Wars-inspired name, he honours hip-hop’s roots by remixing snippets of pop culture into fresh, genre-blending creations. Over 20 years ago, he dropped the now-classic How To Cut & Paste: 80s Edition, in which he applied his hip-hop DJ’ing techniques to 1980s pop.
