Dark Knights 4th Birthday Party

Dark Knights are back again and we would love you all to join us! This time it is our 4th Birthday Party. So to help us celebrate we have invited some of the biggest rave legends the south west has to offer.

Ribbz and Mach One go way back to the Dreamscape days and running Revelation events at Plymouth Warehouse. Pioneers in rave culture itself and helping shape the sounds we all love today. They will be mixing it up the old school way on vinyl with a fresh new take on techno infused with some of the classics. ??After holding a few warehouse parties in Amsterdam in 1990, DJ Mach one returned to the UK and founded the original Dreamscape events in 1991 before creating Revelation in 1992.?? One of the UK’s first underground music clubs and arguably the largest of its time, it prided itself on an open minded attitude to music.??The cream of the UK’s underground music scene spun records alongside a rotating roster of the south west UK’s finest DJ’s, the club was held at verbeer manor in the Devon countryside for over 3 years and succeeded against the odds in establishing itself as a mecca for cutting edge music, attracting up to 800 people a week from across the country. It gained some notoriety when it appeared unjustly on the Roger Cook report in 1993. ??It then transferred successfully to a much larger venue (2000 capacity), the legendary Plymouth warehouse ,where it held court until June 1994.

On the terrace we have another old school legend who goes by the name of Lazy Shaun.

Shaun has been mixing for over two decades, adapting from 25+ yrs mastering vinyl, Pioneer CDJ’2000’s and Hercules etc. From a whole mixture of genres including House, Techno, Minimal, Deep & Tech House and more recently adding Future Techno.

Adapting his dynamic talent from free parties to clubs all over the country including Club UK-London, Universe, Club Ifor Bach, Heaven, Lakota Club, Pawlett Manor and Cheese Pavillons to name just a few…

His promotional work also setting up venues such as The Burston and Kingsley, in North Devon. Various clubs in and around Taunton and Exeter and The Mighty Venues of Tiverton, Seaton, Exmouth and Barnstaple. Including plays in Cardiff with the Lazy House and Aaron. More up to date, Kaos Club, The Fusion Project-Exeter and Field of Dreamz and the Marland Mashup Crew…too many amazing people to mention!

We welcome Kesho (Svezarm Calling Crew) who will be doing a warm up set for us. He has a wicked deep minimal sound with lots of bleeps and plops.

Also joining this badman crew will be some of the Dark Knight regulars Dizzit, Kelly Jay, Gavin Quiet, Notzz and Remy.

This event will be spread over two arenas. The bar and the legendary terrace. In the bar we will have a wicked F1 Sound System provided by neighbourhood soundsystem as well as wicked lighting and lasers. Terrace is as we all love it so much, outside with awesome projections and the added jugglers and UV madness.
