Dir. Borushok Nazar.
2024, 90 mins.
Ukrainian with English subtitles

The documentary film “Da Vinci” is a story about the outstanding Ukrainian warrior and freedom fighter Dmytro Kotsyubail, who, after experiencing all the dangers of the revolution on the Maidan, went to the front as an 18-year-old boy to defend the country against the Russians. For 9 years in the war, Dmytro became a legendary commander, who, through his courage and dedication, served as an example for many comrades. Our film aims not only to tell in detail the life story of this great warrior but also to explore the evolution of his formation as a patriot and defender. With this film, we will also attempt to answer the question of how Da Vinci was influenced in his formation and how the young man managed to create one of the most effective units at the front.

This event will be followed by a conversation in the Secret Garden.
