Creative Writing for Wellbeing – Evening Class

Research reveals that creative writing helps calm the mind and increases feelings of wellbeing. Join me on a four-week Creative Writing for Wellbeing course and see the benefits which arise from taking time to invest in a creative outlet.

No previous experience is needed.

You’ll be guided through each writing activity in a non-judgemental and supportive atmosphere.

We’ll explore different types of writing such as journaling, mindful writing, storytelling and poetry.

About the tutor:

Carla Jenkins is represented by Madeleine Milburn and her debut novel is due to be published by Hachette as a key title in 2024. Carla has been placed in several national and international writing competitions in the past three years and is currently studying for a PhD in Creative Writing whilst working on her second novel. She has a Masters in Creative Writing and is a fully qualified teacher.
