These workshops are aimed at Creative Businesses. Whether you are an artist, maker or musician these are practical, digital marketing workshops, to help you grow your business.

Twitter is the social network site that stumps the majority of you! You may know the advantages of tweeting but just don’t know how to, or you may not understand how Twitter could help you at all. Either way we can help you fathom Twitter and know your @ from your #.

This practical workshop will teach you:

• How to use Twitter
• The language of Twitter
• How to optimise hashtag use
• Make the most of your bio
• Which accounts you should be following
• What creative hours you can become involved in
• How to encourage engagement
• How to find relevant information
• How to plan and schedule your tweets

We will be hands on so please bring your chosen electronic device – whether you prefer to use a laptop or a tablet. Please sign up to Twitter beforehand (if you need support with this please get in touch prior to the workshop.) If you are already signed up to Twitter please bring all your log in details.

We will look at different creative Twitter accounts to see who uses it well, and to help you get inspired! We will get a plan of action together so that you can leave the session ready to schedule at least a week’s worth of tweets!

We will be keeping this workshop small so there will be plenty of opportunity for some one on one advice and support. There will also be plenty of opportunity to network with your fellow creative friends.
