Clare Thornton applies new pressure to an abiding interest in materiality and the body. Manipulating materials, in this instance clay, she creates installations that examine things teetering on the edge. Teasing, testing materials through a series of processes that result in sculptural forms both seductive yet slightly unsettling.
An intimate window gallery for micro-installations and sculptural interventions.
