Chasing the Light Photography Exhibition

A collection of images taken by participants in the first three photography programmes as part of Meridian Raw CIC’s Chasing the Light Project.

Chasing the Light Project is a 4-year participatory photography project in Exeter that provides 6, 14-week participatory photography programmes, 64 photo-walks and 2 participant curated exhibitions and has been funded by The National Lottery Community Fund’s Reaching Communities Programme.

Each 14-week photography programme is free to attended and is aimed at people who have experienced mental health problems and those in the community who are socially isolated.

Participants who attended these programmes have had the opportunity to create their own photo-story or photographic portfolio, take part in innovative photo-dialogue exercises, learn, and develop basic camera skills, take part in three photography trips and have fun with a camera.
