Local Writer/Illustrator/Animator Ashley Thorpe of Carrion Films has been celebrating the neglected aspects of British folklore and British Gothic through deliciously terrifying animation for over 10 years. In this interactive Q&A session, he will be presenting his works, screening titles & clips from Hairy Hands, Borley Rectory and his recent work –  the opening titles of Tales of Halloween. Ashley will reveal the tricks of the trade and answer questions on animation technique, developing stories for the screen and what it is like to work as an animator in the industry, both locally and further afield.
