Join Another Spring artist Steffi Klenz as she talks about her artistic practice, which moves seamlessly between expanded notions of photography, sculpture and video installation, constantly considering the particularity of the photographic medium as well as the place in question.
Steffi Klenz is best known for her large-scale photographic works of unusual urban spaces. She has exhibited internationally in group and solo exhibitions including Kehrer Gallery, Berlin; Phoenix Art Museum, Arizona and Street Level Photoworks, Glasgow. In 2015 Klenz was one of 13 international photographic artists commissioned to participate in the publication Rights of Passage for the 56th Venice Biennale. In 2016 she participated in BBC East Tower commissioned by BBC, Stanhope Development and White Noise.
Klenz was born in 1979 in Rostock, former East-Germany and currently lives in London.
