A crash course in collaborative filmmaking

Caneshia Voisey talks about her journey into producing a collaborative film project on a low budget in the Southwest. The workshop will discuss the process of pre-production, filming, and post-production as well as screening the finished project ‘KILLCON’.


Your tutor

Caneshia Voisey is an Award-winning Actress and Model. Caneshia studied acting at the Theatre Train theatre company where she performed at schools, London Royal Albert Hall, and studied with another theatre company at Exeter University where she got to perform and help run work shops at the university in Austin Texas, America. Caneshia has played numerous roles in both film and TV, such as KILLCON, Jay’s Grave, Getting Away With Murder, GunRise, Transylvania, Protect Your Witness, Yardies, Impressing Vincenzo, and Blinded By Magic, to name a few. Caneshia is the founder of Greenwolf Productions, where she wrote and produced her first TV pilot, KILLCON.


About the workshops

This series of workshops are open to all regardless of experience and free to attend. Whether you’ve never been involved in any kind of filmmaking or a seasoned professional, everyone is welcome. Session will cover a variety of topics with the aim to share, teach and to encourage new and existing filmmakers. The local filmmakers have a wealth of knowledge and experience that we are hoping to share for the benefit of everyone in the community.
