Miserable Sinners is a recent body of work based on the seven deadly sins by Cornwall-based painter and printmaker Nicola Bealing.

Tom Pether’s sculptural practice ingests, transforms and excretes objects we use in our lives; exploring our desire to escape the world, our inevitable failure to do so, and how this haunts us.

The work exhibited in this exhibition has been produced over the past year by groups facilitated by The Workers Education Association (WEA) and led by artist Sarah John in the studios here at Exeter Phoenix.
