Rising star Zaid Hilal is on a UK tour playing Palestinian music and singing in a folk-rock-Arabic music genre. He has composed his own anthems and through ethnomusicologal research uncovered songs of the Levant testifying to deep Palestinian roots and the story of resistance to three sets of colonisers, The Ottomans, The British and Israel. He has over 40,000 instagram followers and over a million youtube viewers. He toured the UK in 2025 ‘He’s the musical ambassador for Palestine’ Husam Zomlot Palestinian Ambassador to UK, “His voice carried memory longing resistance and love” Elementary Festival. This is a solo show.

Zaid performs solo with carefully arranged recorded support from Palestinian musicians and singers. He’s on a national tour and performing at Cardiff, London, Glasgow, Stroud, Weston Super Mare, Bristol, Ashburton and Exeter. Full details on Zaid’s website.
