Bee and Robi have been living together for years. It’s always been the two of them – they hadn’t needed anyone else. That is, until one of them embarks on a new relationship and together they navigate friendship and love within a society centered around romantic relationships.

Sparks is a contemporary work-in-progress theatre piece that depicts how the two characters explore their lives separately and together, sparking important conversations about the ways we can love, support and prioritise each other within different kinds of relationships. It’s a blend of duologue, music, and movement, produced by Fruitful Productions, an LGBTQ+ production company based in Devon.
