Crafted through a journey of poems, Wish For Bold Wisdom is a movement theatre show which asks, How can elder and younger women evolve to live in homage to each other?

Wish For Bold Wisdom is layered with grounded, soulful, vigorous, vibrant, and unique dance, poetry, theatre, and music, then flourished with bird song.

Bringing you to familiar places and exploring dynamics with local characters you may know, then passing you the questions. Who orders the drinks? And who overthinks? From society’s problems to the simplicity of nature’s answers. Through visceral, textured physicality, we demonstrate how performers with a fifty-year age gap mutually learn by sharing wisdom, passion, and honesty. Challenging sexism and ageism contextualised by community and nature’s humbling, simple perspective.

As a 22-year-old woman, I yearn for a societal shift that creates space where intergenerational women can integrate and provide for each other.
